Peaches are still available for a few more days but will soon end. Blueberries are done. Paula Red apples are in the market. U-Pick Paula's are done. W now have Golden Supreme, Gala, and Honeycrisp in the market. U-Pick Honeycrisp is NOT ready yet but probably soon. McIntosh (we pick) will be available this weekend..

Sparta Festival
The Sparta "Harvest on the Ridge Apple Festival", was a great success in 2009 and 2010 will be even better. You can download the 2010 schedule of events and scarecrow contest rules at www.spartachamber.com . We will also have the contest rules available at the market.
Put Sept. 24-25 on your calendar and consider entering the scarecrow contest.

Baked Fresh Handmade Pies are available by special order. Frozen handmade pies are generally available in the freezer section.
Our frozen or baked handmade pies are all 2-crust pies unless they are labeled "Dutch". A Dutch pie has a top crumb crust and is only available as a baked pie.
Frozen handmade pies are usually available any time during harvest season, but they are very popular so if you specifically want a particular pie, it would be good to call ahead so we can save it for you.
Frozen handmade 2-crust pies are available at $12.00 each.

Frozen Handmade Pies (Baking them is very easy. 1 hr. & 15 minutes only)
Frozen handmade pies are available only as 2-crust pies.
We try to keep some on hand, but we recommend ordering ahead to be sure the pies are here when you want them. Order now for your freezer - these pies are wonderful for Thanksgiving or Christmas or any special occasion!
